Adelphi is a soft and complex taupe. It’s mixed with both red and blue pigments, making it a perfectly balanced neutral, with surprisingly warm qualities. The color was inspired by the hugely influential neoclassical architect Robert Adam, who frequently showcased this soft neutral in the many private residences, churches, and theatres he designed. A brilliant base to use as part of complex pastel color schemes. This shade has been developed to match a color mix of Chalk Paint® in Paloma and Pure.

The water-based formula contains low VOCs and is certified Toy Safe, but will take whatever life throws its way. Available in a premium matte finish with a slight sheen.

COVERAGE: A one-coat paint and primer in one that will cover 450 sq. ft per gallon! Coverage will vary depending on surface and application

The best way to truly understand the perception of the color in your space is to purchase a color card to reference in your own home. Lighting, other wall colors, flooring, and even your furniture can make a difference in how a color will looks. We recommend purchasing a paint color card can make sure you love the color in your space before committing to the gallon!

REVIEW FROM A CUSTOMER: We received this review from a customer and thought it would be helpful to share with you. "Just like the furniture Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan, a little goes a long way. I just finished painting a room with it and used less than one gallon for the entire room in 2 coats. The paint is superior in many ways and made my project easy. I really didn’t even need that 2nd coat because coverage was so good but I opted to do it anyway as this room will have a lot of heavy activity. The lesser quality paints typically used would have required that 2nd coat for sure and I would have needed to spend for another gallon. So if a different "premium paint" is $64 or thereabouts and the quality is less, and you need more paint to get equal coverage, in reality you’re spending more for a lesser quality with inferior pigment. I cannot say enough about this paint. It’s like whipped cream on your brush. Very light weight feel as you brush….or roll. I love it and I’ve been painting for many years. Money well spent."
